Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation:
If you cancel your lesson less than 12 hours before the scheduled date and time, no refund will be issued. Cancellations can only be made free of charge if done at least 12 hours in advance.
Rescheduling:
Lessons can be rescheduled free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled date and time. After this deadline, any cancellation or rescheduling will be considered a no-show.
Lateness:
If you are more than 10 minutes late, the lesson will be canceled and considered a no-show, with no refund.
Refunds:
A full refund will only be issued if the cancellation is made at least 12 hours before the scheduled lesson time.
Payment:
Payment is due at the time of booking. Lessons will not be reserved until payment is received. Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit/debit card.
Student Conduct:
Students are expected to behave respectfully and courteously during lessons. Inappropriate behavior may result in the cancellation of the lesson without refund, and teaching may be refused to the student if necessary. Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior may lead to the immediate suspension of lessons.
Data Protection:
All personal information you provide will be treated confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. No personal information will be shared with third parties without your prior consent.
Force Majeure:
In cases of force majeure (illness, unforeseen events, natural disasters, technical issues, etc.), Chidi Language School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson without compensation. You will be informed as soon as possible, and either a refund or rescheduling will be offered depending on the situation.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
Chidi Language School reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to students, and any subsequent booking will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
Student Responsibility:
The student is responsible for their own access and environment during online lessons. Chidi Language School cannot be held responsible for technical issues related to the student’s equipment (internet connection, microphone, webcam, etc.).
Prices and VAT
All prices listed on this website are final. No VAT (Value Added Tax) is charged under the French micro-entrepreneur scheme.
VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI).
Prices are expressed in euros unless otherwise specified. If you are purchasing from outside the European Union, you are responsible for any local taxes or fees that may apply in your country.
Audio Recordings for Promotional Purposes
Some lessons may be recorded (audio only) for promotional and marketing purposes related to the language school (such as on social media, websites, or podcasts). No video recordings will ever be made without your prior written consent.
If you do not wish to be recorded at all (even audio), please let me know in writing or vocally before or during the lesson. I fully respect your privacy, and opting out will have no impact on the quality of your lessons.
